About the Author
Vicky Kaseorg is the best-selling author of thirteen books, many of which include canine characters. Kaseorg explains her plethora of dog books: "I'm a sucker for a good dog story...especially one with a happy ending. Those are pretty hard to find, so I decided to write them myself." At the core of all of Kaseorg's work is a deep faith and exploration of how God is present in the daily symbols and experiences of life. Her books are meant to uplift, encourage, and inspire, though not all are explicitly religious. Kaseorg writes a daily blog at vickykaseorg.blogspot.com. She volunteers as a pro-life counselor for women ambivalent about abortion, is active in dog rescue groups, and works with community services that provide food and supplies to disadvantaged people in her community. She has homeschooled all three of her children, graduating the last one in May, 2015 after over twenty years of home educating. She resides with her husband and the youngest of her three children in North Carolina. Originally from upstate NY, the Kaseorgs fled to the south when 100 inches of lake effect snow didn't melt for four months. This is evidence of her practical and clear-headed thinking... a wonderful adventure with Poppy!

A terrific narrative from Poppy's point of view! What a great way to bring me closer to a dog and a person I hold near and dear to me. Thank you for this wonderful book, Vicky!

I'm a little partial

As Poppy's mom, I must admit partiality.....but this book really captured my little dingo girl and her quirky personality. I loved it. And yes, she still digs out regularly

Loved it!

Love this story! Very sweet story of a rescue dog and her human. Very amusing antidotes too from Poppy's point of view.
