Great for learning

I learned to crochet using this company's crochet book called by a similar name. When I had decided to learn to knit, I tried some other books but found the instruction very unclear as well as the photos. So, I tried this company's book for knitting remembering how easy it was to follow for crochet and now I'm knitting with no problems! This is a great starter book.

Good book

This is a good little book to have for a beginner. I am a visual learner and some of the illustrations can be a little difficult for me but you can read along because Everything is broken down into steps. Everything is explained well. It's not a big book (52 pages) but it is handy to have. It also has 20 projects to knit.I am new to knitting and I have a long way to go but I like the way the info is broken done into easy to learn bite size pieces. I hope this helps :-)

No more excuses!

I was introduced to knitting years ago by a friend who knew I had a VERY stressful job. She said it was soothing, like a meditation...relaxing... and she was RIGHT! Recently I decided to get back into it, and realized I'd pretty much forgotten the basics. I found this book, and it is amazing. It's been so many years, that I'm basically a beginner again. This book breaks things down into small, manageable 'bites' for even the most frazzled, time-constrained person. The pictures are clear and the instructions straightforward. I liked it so much that I bought one for a co-worker who had expressed an interest in learning how to knit for the first time.
