Great guide for quilters of all abilities

Take inspiration from the author's insights on color, pattern, and scale as you experiment to discover your own unique style.” This beautiful book accomplished the task quite well. Mrs. Guzman, an expert designer and quilter, shares insight and instruction for quilters of varying expertise, weaving instruction with personal anecdotes and design advice. The drawings and diagrams easy to understand and follow, even for a novice quilter like me. The photographed quilts included are beautiful and inspirational, making this not only a design book, but a book that is lovely just to look at. I’m looking forward to creating my own quilt masterpieces using this book as a guide!

Highly recommend "All About Strips"!

Susan Guzman's book "All About STRIPS" is innovative and inspirational. I am a novice, and my intention is to quilt a special gift with a unique design. Susan shares great tips, and I appreciate the designers' names of the fabrics she has provided in the book. Susan's eclectic patterns and her choice of fabrics are apropos with her clever use of names for each quilt. Susan's designs are dynamic; the perfect combination of thorough and detailed instructions for a beginner, yet the designs are artistically challenging enough for an expert. My adored choice is 'Kindred Spirit', although Susan's designs harmonize with a wide variety of personal preferences. "All About STRIPS" by Susan Guzman is categorically worth purchasing. I am totally inspired!

is wonderful reference as well as a project book

Susan Guzman's book, All About Strips, is wonderful reference as well as a project book. Look at the cover quilt- it is just yummy! Susan has great sense of style and color, and she shares information on using color and mixing fabric in the book. Her directions are concise, easy to follow and make a complicated looking quilt easy to piece- perfect for a beginner or a more seasoned quilter. The quilts have a modern feel yet should appeal to quilters of various styles. With beautiful photographs and eye catching quilts, it is inspirational as well.
