2015年の干支でもある羊さんの毛と、ペットのうさぎちゃんの毛を使って、沢山の作品が生まれました。お客様とペットちゃんのお写真と想いをお預かりして、毛の色やお顔の表情も似せられるように、羊毛フェルトドールを制作しています。本物うさぎさんの写真と、作品画像の比較は、どちらが本物か分からないと言われることもあります。お客様からの愛兎さんへの想いと共に、ご覧いただけければ、きっと、やさしくあたたかい気持ちになれると思います。うさぎだけではなく、ハムスター、犬、猫もちょっぴり載せています。お客様からの、「どうやって作っているの？」にお答えするために、今年の干支の羊作品たちにお手伝いしてもらって、植毛オーダー羊毛フェルトうさぎが完成するまでを、画像でご紹介しております。また、そっくりなお人形制作のご依頼の次に多い、結婚式のウェルカムドールも４組、愛兎ちゃんに代わって、披露宴でお手伝いをした、羊毛うさぎのリングピローも自信作です。ニードルフェルトのテクニックを使った作品だけではなく、水フェルトという、お湯と洗剤を使って、羊毛に摩擦を加えることで縮めてフエルト化し、造形することが出来るテクニックを使った、バッグの制作工程も簡単にご紹介しております。こちらをテキストにして作品を作ることは難しいですが、羊毛フェルトを楽しまれている方、うさぎをはじめ、動物が好きな方にも楽しんでいただける内容だと思います。是非、お手に取ってご覧下さいませ。

【プロフィール】
大阪府出身。横浜市在住。人形劇を主催している母の傍らで、幼い頃からハンドメイドに親しむ。短大で服飾を専攻。結婚式のドレスも自作。洋裁、シャドゥボックス、カルトナージュ、ステンシルなど様々なクラフトを経験した上で、羊毛フェルトの自由自在に形を変えられる素材に魅了され、うさぎを飼いはじめたことをきっかけに、自分のうさぎを可愛く形に残したいとニードルフェルトでうさぎを作り始める。２００８年、東京ビッグサイトイベントで展示販売、ワークショップ経験させていただいたことで、2009年より、うさフェスタへ出展、カルチャーセンターで講師活動もはじめる。
掲載書籍「羊毛フェルトのマスコットCOLLECTION」(vol.1，2，3）、「ラビモン」(vol.1，2）、うさぎと暮らす（54号）2011年～2015年「年賀状データー集PREMIUM」など。
2014年11月19日～24日まで「ガレリア原宿」にて個展開催。
作家名のショコラボックスは、大好きなパリのショコラティエ
をイメージして、おしゃれで可愛く愛情のこもった作品をお届け
したいという想いからフランス語の「Chocolat」カルトナージュ、
シャドゥボックスにちなんで英語の「Box」を合わせた造語。

Gorgeous creations and artistry

Only has about five English words in it, but the photographs are so inspiring. The artist truly is an artist - these animals are just adorable. I could kiss their little faces right off and the styling is superb. How I wish I could read the text though!
